Physio Experience

I graduated from La Trobe University in 2013 with a Bachelor of Health Sciences and Master of Physiotherapy. Throughout my studies I worked as a physiotherapist for a local football club and international rugby tournaments. Since then I have been working at 557physiopilates as a physiotherapist, clinical Pilates instructor and fitness Pilates instructor.

I believe that physiotherapy…

is there to improve the patient’s overall wellbeing and function, not just treat the presenting condition. This means adapting and combining my theoretical knowledge, manual skills and clinical experience with the patient’s goals and interests to promote self-management and therefore produce optimal results.

Specialist areas…

I have a strong interest in treating acute and chronic neck and back pain, sporting/dance injuries, pelvic instability and hip pain. I love using a wide range of treatments including manual therapy techniques, dry needling, taping and creating personalised rehab programs. I also run group and individual clinical and fitness pilates classes.

I keep active by…

HIIT classes, weight training, Pilates, jogging, Zumba and chasing after my Pilates clients!
