After working as a healthcare practitioner for 3 years in Vancouver, Canada (where I am from), I moved to Australia to study physiotherapy at the University of Sydney. I completed my Master of Physiotherapy in 2012 then moved home to Vancouver shortly after and practiced as a physio for a private multi-disciplinary clinic. I treated a wide variety of sports, work and motor vehicle accident injuries, as well as conducted the hydrotherapy program.
I loved Australia so much that I returned to Melbourne to live and practice physio in August 2014!
I BELIEVE THAT PHYSIOTHERAPY…
is largely about educating the individuals who seek our help. Arming people with knowledge such as how to move in healthier ways, what things to avoid, pain management strategies, or even how to find a comfortable sleeping position, is already half the battle. In this regard, physiotherapy is a lot about empowering individuals during their recovery and equipping them to be active participants in the maintenance of their health and well-being.

I KEEP ACTIVE BY…
I enjoy hiking (or bushwalking as it’s called in Australia), snowboarding, SCUBA diving, weight training, and participating in pilates.
