Bev Kaplan

Bev-KaplanPhysio Experience

I graduated from Cumberland College of Health Sciences (Sydney University) with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 1993 and spent my first 2 years working at The Royal North Shore Hospital in Sydney rotating through their major physio departments. On my return to Australia, I went into private practice and have been working in the fields of aquatic physio (hydrotherapy), orthopaedics, respiratory and general musculoskeletal physio since.

I believe that as a physiotherapist…

My role is to treat my patients, but more importantly to work together with them, towards improving and ultimately regaining their highest level of physical capability and function.

Specialist areas…

My area of special interest is in aquatic physiotherapy and I’ve been fortunate enough to spend much of my career over the past 20 years practicing this speciality. Over the past few years I have also focused on respiratory physiotherapy treating chest conditions such as bronchiectasis, pneumonia and emphysema.

I keep active by…

Going to the gym, jogging, looking after our three children and partaking in my aquatic physiotherapy sessions.
