As we get older or due to certain conditions, we may not be as steady on our feet as we used to be. Keeping our bodies mobile and muscles in condition can really help with balance and with preventing accidental falls. It makes us stronger and more resilient.

Balance Training

Balance training has proven to be a safe way to enjoy the following benefits:

Falls Prevention

Falls prevention is very important to consider in conditions such as diabetes, poor vision, vertigo, osteoporosis and Parkinson’s disease.

People who have previously suffered a fall are at high risk of falling again.

Individual or Group Sessions

You will have an initial assessment with a physiotherapist. Following this your physiotherapist will tailor an individual program for you including static and dynamic balance exercises.

The balance class will consist of a guided warm-up, your individual balance regime, followed by a stretching session.

Your supervised class will include no more than five other participants and will take approximately 45 minutes, to ensure you receive optimum benefits.
